Who this applies to
This notice covers dradityamalik.com, the website of Dr Aditya Malik, Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, practising in Delhi NCR. It explains what the website does with information you give it.
It does not cover the hospitals at which Dr Malik consults. Medanta and any other hospital hold their own patient records under their own policies, and those are separate from this website.
What the enquiry form collects
If you complete the appointment enquiry form, it asks for:
- Your name
- Your phone number
- Your email address
- Your preferred consulting location
- The area of the problem, and anything you choose to write in the message box
Nothing else is collected, and none of it is required in order to browse the site.
Please do not send clinical details
The form is for arranging a consultation, not for describing a medical problem in depth. Please keep the message brief. A proper history is taken in clinic, where it can be recorded securely and acted on.
What happens to it
When you submit the form, the information is emailed to Dr Malik and is also stored in this website’s database so that no enquiry is lost if an email fails to arrive.
It is used only to respond to your enquiry and to arrange an appointment. It is not sold, not shared with third parties for marketing, and not used to send you anything you did not ask for.
Enquiry records are removed once they are no longer needed for the purpose you sent them for.
Who can see it
Dr Malik, and any administrative staff assisting with appointments. The website is hosted by Hostinger, which necessarily stores the site’s data on its servers as part of providing the hosting.
Cookies
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies and runs no third-party analytics. Some cookies may be set by the site’s caching and page-building software for technical reasons only, to serve pages faster and to keep forms working.
Your choices
You may ask what information the site holds about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to am.aditya@doctors.org.uk and say what you would like done.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS and kept up to date. No website can promise perfect security, and this one does not.
Changes
If this notice changes, the date at the top will change with it.
