A surgeon shaped by four health systems
I trained in India, spent a decade in the NHS, and took further fellowships at the Mayo Clinic and in Nice. That is the standard I have brought back to Delhi NCR.
Who I am
I am an orthopaedic surgeon with a dual specialist interest: shoulder and elbow surgery, and robotic hip and knee replacement. Both interests are backed by dedicated post-specialist fellowship training rather than general exposure.
My medical training began at Banaras Hindu University, where I completed my MBBS, finishing my internship year in 2013. I returned there for my MS in Orthopaedics, which I read from June 2014 to 2017.
I then took up a senior residency at the Central Institute of Orthopaedics (CIO), Safdarjung Hospital in New Delhi, one of the busiest major trauma centres in the country. Operating at that volume, on injuries of every severity, is where you learn to think quickly and to decide under pressure.
I then moved to the United Kingdom, passed the MRCS, completed an MCh in Orthopaedics focused on hip and knee surgery, and was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in Trauma & Orthopaedics (FRCS Tr&Orth).
I am available for consultations at Medanta Noida and Medanta Defence Colony.
If you would rather know the person than the CV, there is more about my family and where I come from here.
